Cat (Felis)

Homage to  the feline! Cats domestication by the Egyptians allowed for rodent  control, enabling grain storage, and the rise of civilization.  They were so sacred that gods were made in their image, and   to kill a cat meant  death. Our own cat, alias, “Her majesty,” also rules our entire household from her  pillow throne.  Her regal humor is true to her  noble Egyptian legacy.
