Big Horn Sheep (Ovis canadensis)

Big Horn sheep can walk on ledges two inches wide  with hoofs that actually grip the earth like suction cups.  Their skeletons are quite flexible, making them well adapted to their alpine environment.  They eat grasses and woody plants. In fall rutting season rams may charge at each other at  20 mph, butting heads for hours— not unlike some married couples
