Rabbit (Sylvilagus)

Rabbits are one of the most delectable animals on the food chain. Thus, they have certain gifts.  Wide spread, bulging eyes allow them to see in an arc. Tall ears gives them excellent hearing.   They have up to five litters a year;  the bunnies becoming independent in just 28 days.  Rabbits are primarily nocturnal, which gives them further protection.
