Butterfly (Lepidoptera)

Butterflies are important natural pollinators.   Some, such as the Monarch, migrate from Canada to Mexico each year.  In many cultures butterflies are symbolic of both joy and lightness, because of their relationship to flowers and their capacity for balance. Also known for  their  metamorphosis, they transform from egg,  to caterpillar to butterfly in about four weeks
