Frog (Ranidae)Some say that the frog’s song can call the rain. Developing from egg to tadpole to frog, they are an excellent example of metamorphosis. Voracious carnivores, they eat insects, spiders and crustaceans. They are also an important source of food for many birds and fish. A frog’s ultra sensitive skin makes it very susceptible to water pollution; they are struggling to survive. |
